Calculator inputs
Calculator math runs in your browser. We do not require an account, and this first version does not transmit or store the dimensions, quantities, or prices you enter. If you save a result to “My Projects”, that data stays in your browser’s local storage and is not sent to our servers.
Basic server information
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process IP address, approximate country, request time, requested page, browser type, device information, and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. Approximate country is used to suggest a regional currency and measurement system; it is not used to determine a precise location. Operational logs are retained only as needed for security and service reliability.
Regional preference
When you choose a country, the site stores that preference in your browser’s local storage and in a strictly functional cookie so the same currency and measurement defaults can be shown on your next visit. This cookie is required for the feature you requested and is not used for advertising. You can change the region at any time from the site header or clear the preference through your browser settings.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site is prepared for Google AdSense, and the AdSense script and account-verification metadata are present so Google can verify and review the site. Display advertising is not served until AdSense approves the site and ad delivery is enabled. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and our ads.txt file authorizes Google as a seller for this domain. Advertising partners process data under their own policies; see Google’s partner-sites notice.
Consent choices
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management message is shown before any non-essential advertising storage is used, and you can accept, reject, or manage purposes there. You can reopen that message later from the consent link on the page where it is offered. In other regions, you can still block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser without losing access to the calculators.
Analytics
No separate audience-analytics script is currently enabled. If we add privacy-respecting traffic measurement later, this policy will name the provider and the data involved before it is switched on.
Contact messages
If you email us, we receive the address and content you provide. We use it to respond, review corrections, or handle the stated request. Do not send confidential project records, financial documents, or sensitive personal information.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process limited information to host, secure, or operate the site under appropriate obligations. Information may also be disclosed when legally required. We keep data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected.
Your choices and rights
You may block cookies in your browser and contact privacy@costmyreno.com to ask about access, correction, deletion, or objection rights that apply in your jurisdiction. We may need to verify a request before acting on it, and we aim to respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children and changes
This general-audience site is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective or updated date above.
